An explosion proof UVC light is selected for a defined disinfection system, not as a replacement for ordinary work-area illumination. The THT-EX L2101 UVC model provides a starting point for hazardous area UVC lighting enquiries involving enclosed air-treatment or other engineered applications in UAE industrial facilities.<\/p>

Application conditions: define the treatment system<\/h2>

For an AHU or HVAC enquiry, provide the duct or chamber drawing, airflow, available installation space, operating temperature and treatment objective. Identify access doors and maintenance points so exposure controls can be considered in the system design.<\/p>

For a surface or water-treatment proposal, describe the material or medium, geometry, flow or exposure time and required validation. Do not infer a site-specific disinfection result from lamp wattage alone. Request application evidence and a system assessment before making a performance commitment.<\/p>

Installation and use restrictions<\/h2>

UVC can injure eyes and skin. Prevent direct exposure through an appropriately designed enclosure, access controls and operating procedures. Installation must follow the model instructions, with the complete system reviewed by qualified personnel. See the NEA guidance on commercial and industrial UVC safety<\/a>.<\/p>

Send mounting orientation, chamber dimensions, cable-entry requirements and service-access drawings for review. Ask for the matching mounting details and instructions for the selected tube configuration. Explosion protection does not make exposed UVC safe for people, and an IP rating alone does not approve direct immersion in a water-treatment system.<\/p>

Frequently asked questions<\/h2>

Does the UVC model also have the high-temperature range?<\/h3>

No. The cited L2101 UVC range is \u221220\u00b0C to +40\u00b0C. Do not apply the +85\u00b0C, +100\u00b0C or +120\u00b0C ratings of other heat-resistant models to this product.<\/p>

Can it replace a normal light above occupied workstations?<\/h3>

Do not select it as general illumination. UVC requires an application-specific system design that prevents harmful exposure during operation and maintenance.<\/p>

Is a fixed disinfection percentage guaranteed for my installation?<\/h3>

A project result requires application-specific evidence. Ask for the relevant test conditions and validate the proposed system against the actual medium, geometry, flow and exposure conditions. This selection page makes no universal disinfection guarantee.<\/p>
